Exchange Students Cultural Tour on February 12th – Exploring Taiwanese Culture at Water Source Ecological Park, I-Cake Invention Gallery, and Luodong Night Market

On February 12th, the Office of International Programs will be hosting a one-day tour, travelling to the Eastern coastal city of Yi-Lan. This tour will allow exchange students to indulge in Taiwanese cuisine, interact with the local people, and experience different aspects of our culture. Also, you will be able to meet up with your buddy and spend a fun, relaxing day exploring Eastern Taiwan.

We will review your documents and announce the result in early November.

Exchange Students Cultural Tour on September 3rd, 2019 – Be a Tea Farmer and Experience Unique Tea Picking in Ilan County

 

“Tea” plays an essential role in oriental culture especially in Taiwanese culture. Taiwanese people drink tea daily and it is even an ingredient used in our common dishes. On September 3rd, the Office of International Programs will bring you to Ilan to be a tea farmer for the day. Join us to have a closer look at local Taiwanese culture and learn how to make your own tea!

IMBA and Commerce exchange students shined at NCCU 2019 World Festival

NCCU held the annual World Festival from May 14th till 17th, a fun activity which students have the opportunity to taste a variety of international foods and have a glimpse of other country’s culture. This exciting festival involves many language departments, student clubs or entrepreneurs that sell and promote food and drinks from their home countries. 
This year the World Festival had the participation of 27 food stands, representing over twenty countries or regions. With a diverse student body, NCCU had many international students joined in.
